Preparation

Usually, little preparation is required. You may need to remove jewellery or certain items of clothing before your examination.

You may be asked to sit, stand or lie down depending on the area being examined. You will need to remain still while the images are taken.

After the X-Ray

Once your images are complete, you can generally return to your normal activities. Your images will be reviewed and a report sent to your referring doctor.
